"Distraction Items" were found throughout the course

Here are some details on the exercise:

b. Uniform: i. CST T-shirt and entry shorts (APFT shorts can substitute) ii. Running shoes with white athletic socks iii. M-40 mask or similar APR iv. Blackhawk backpack or similar v. AT LEAST ONE printed copy of this LOI (you need the maps). Color printed maps are highly suggested. vi. One pencil or pen vii. Water bottle or hydration plan (able to carry in backpack) viii. One Bath Towel c. Standards: i. Meeting time is 0730 hours – in brief begins at that time. ii. All participating team members will be divided into 4 teams. A different person will throw on each “stroke” (team rotation). iii. All throws must be made while wearing the Protective Mask. iv. All 18 “holes” must be completed in 1 hour (might need to run). v. There will be a shotgun start by running to your assigned starting hole. You must land navigate to your assigned starting hole. vi. Scores will be kept by counting number above or below par. vii. Masks can be removed at all other times. You can ground your gear (or pass off to a team mate) during throws. viii. "Distraction Items" will be found on the course. These items must be cleaned up before and after use. These are to be used on other teams to prevent accurate throws. Use is authorized and encouraged, but all litter must be POLICED as you go. Both attacker and defender are responsible for policing up trash and refuse from "Distraction Items". ix. If 2 or more teams, in the course of normal play, occupy the same fairway, both teams can play through at the same time. Use of “Distraction Items” is in full effect. x. Team planning and execution of golf throws, “Distraction Item” use, and special operations tactics are encouraged.
