Big thanks to all of our sponsors, TD Jeff Jacquart and all the tournament staff (Jose, Jon, Dean, Dewey, Big-E, Pat and the countless other locals who contributed) - this was one of the smoothest tournaments we've had in a while. All the players I spoke with really liked the 3-day format and commented on how smooth everything was... I didn't even hear anyone complaining about the tee-pads, the new OBs (curbing) or how dry the course was... it was great. Good job all!
Barry Schultz (182) wins MPO by 5 strokes with David Feldberg (187) taking second followed by Steve Rico (192). Julianna Korver wins first in FPO. Brad Hammock (194) wins by two over Dan Ginnelly (196) and Randy Amann (204). Glen Whitlock (209) takes MPG over H.B. Clark (213) followed by Glen Triemstra (218). Justin Celmeri (207) shot a -7 the final round to beat out local Jordan Merriman (211) for first in Advanced.
Chris Sprague who finished 5th in Open, aced hole 16 during the final round, I'm pretty sure this was the only tournament ace. It was a beauty, I got to see it first hand. :)
For complete results please see the PDGA site
Notable locals: Cary Trotter got his confidence back the last round and shot an -8 for a total of -11 to tie Timmy Gill for 8th in Open; Jeff Jacquart, in the midst of running a great tournament (per the comments of almost all the participants) shot a -4 overall to take 15th in Open (second to last cash spot); Jeff Kennedy shot -1 overall in the Masters to take 9th followed by a 4-way tie for 10th which included locals Lanny LaCroix and GCC member Dewey Kline; Jordan Merriman and Scott Buff, the duo that brought us lvbagtags.com this year took 2nd and 4th respectively in Advanced; last but not least, Samantha Fatlan took first in Intermediate Women and could have shot better added her dad, saying she needs to work on her short game :) -- Please note this isn't a comprehensive list of locals, just the ones I happen to remember at this time. Sorry if I missed anyone.

The Gentlemen's Club Challenge VII, to be held the weekend before The Memorial (in Phoenix, AZ), will be held over three (3) days. The format will include one (1) round a day (24 or 27 holes), including a round on Friday, and assigned tee times by division. This change will accommodate more players in the Pro and Advanced Divisions, and Intermediate/Novice and Junior Divisions will now be offered. A temporary 9-hole/18-hole mini disc golf course is also being pursued somewhere near the course to keep participants busy. Keep your eyes on lvdiscgolf.com for further information. Any questions, please contact Jeff Jacquart at lvdgc@cox.net.
